Robert Morgan is author of the best seller Gap Creek. Gap Creek won critical admiration, topped national best-seller lists and was crowned an Oprah Book Club selection in early 2000. Morgan has remained intensely interested in rural ways of the past and much of his writing reflects his vast knowledge about them. He is a native of the mountains of North Carolina, has won numerous awards for his poetry and novels including four fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and the North Carolina Award for Literature, among other awards. He is an English professor at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York.
Clemson University Bookstore will host a book signing immediately following Robert Morgan's presentation where he will be available to sign his book, Gap Creek.
