South Carolina Humanities Council
The Strom Thurmond Institute at Clemson University has received a grant from the South Carolina Humanities Council to help support the sixteenth annual Strom Thurmond Seminar in Government and Politics for Social Studies Teachers to be held July 5-18, 1998. The South Carolina Humanities Council is a state program of the National Endowment for the Humanities which helps preserve the state's cultural heritage, fosters lifelong learning, and encourages civic involvement among South Carolinians.
