Welcome to the SC iAm Laptop Project Website
Welcome to the web page designed to provide you with many ideas and resources related to integrating your laptops into your curriculum as well as assisting with the evaluation responsibilities. We will add links to other sites as we are made aware of them. Reviewing other sites can help you maximize the opportunity of engaging students to enhance their learning experience.
For the 2008-09 academic years, we will focus on specific outcomes and changes observed because of the laptops. Our primary goal is to determine the effects that the laptops have on students, teachers, and families. As a participating teacher you will be asked to complete surveys and submit lesson plans that incorporate technology.
The site will be checked regularly to evaluate how it is being used and by whom. You have asked us for sample lesson plans, for the option to submit and download lessons from other iAm Laptop teachers. In addition, you have asked for ways to communicate with one another. We agree that these are important components to program success, so we will make the site as robust as possible. Questions or comments may be directed to
Catherine Watt.
