Modeling Growth and
Predicting Future Developed Land
in the Upstate of South Carolina

Presentations

Two presentations have been created:
  • One shows predicted urban growth in 5-year increments from 2000 through 2030, then finally compares the predicted 2030 urban area with the 2000 urban area. For this set of maps modeling was performed with a 5:1 ratio of developed land growth to population growth.
  • The other compares predicted urban growth for 2030 modeled with alternate ratios of developed land growth to population growth.

Both presentations are in the form of PowerPoint shows (.pps). They will start and advance automatically, except for one spot between the sections of Alternate_Ratios.pps where a mouse-click or right arrow will continue the show.

To download and save the presentations to your computer, right-click on the file image below and choose "Save Target As..." (Explorer) or "Save Link As..." (Firefox).
