SAC Publishes Seven Books of Student Writing

Do you want to know what students think about sexuality and slave revolts? Do you want to read writings SAC students produced during workshops they conducted with juvenile justice system parolees and children from a federal housing development? Then you have come to the right site.

In keeping with its philosophy that teenage perspectives are valuable, SAC has published seven books of writing by Frederick Douglass and McDonogh 35 SAC students. Preview the books at this web site.

Do you want to read more-and support a good cause at the same time? These books are for sale through the SAC program. All proceeds benefit the SAC program and allow us to publish more books.

The paperback chapbooks are available for $11.00 per copy. The cost includes shipping and handling. Make checks or money orders payable to McDonogh 35 Senior High School. Mail orders to the attention of Jim Randels, Students at the Center program, McDonogh 35 Senior High School, 1331 Kerlerec St., New Orleans, LA 70116.
