November 7, 2007 MEMORANDUM TO: South Carolina Water Resources Researchers
Attached is the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the FY 2008 South Carolina Water Resources Center (SCWRC) State Competitive Research Program (104-B). As in the past, I strongly encourage collaborative efforts within and between subject areas and universities. The SCWRC and Strom Thurmond Institute will assist individuals with meeting space, etc. in order to facilitate collaboration. To be considered for funding, a proposal must be approved by the Office of University Research/Sponsored Programs at the Principal Investigator's (PI's) university and be received in this office no later than December 21, 2007. A proposal received after December 21, 2007 will be returned to the Principal Investigator. Upon receipt of a proposal, the Principal Investigator will be so notified by mail or e-mail. Per agreement with Clemson University's Office of Sponsored Programs, proposals from Clemson University faculty should be sent directly from the PI's college to the SCWRC. Please pass this RFP along to any of your colleagues who may be interested but are not currently on our mailing list.
